She was crabbing about my wanting to watch the news while I folded the laundry, and I told her that when she grew up, she was going to want to be a smart woman who is able to speak on a number of current events, and that meant watching the news once in awhile. "I don't want to be a woman!" she cried out. I asked her what she wanted to be, and the first thing she blurted out was "a pink puppy!"
